People store and assimilate information. Whenever we pass a bad driver on the road, we turn and look. We may not memorize the details, but we absorbe the information and add it to our model. In this case,a set of stereo types, which is part of our model of the world. Over time we recognize the most important aspects of our environment on a subconscious level, improving our driving ability and increasing our available range of perception.

If Pi Is Infinitely Long...
If the decimal of Pi continues infinitely without repeating, then wouldn't every conceivable number, including those with repeating patterns, exist within it?
No, not necessarily, I think, but I don't recall reading about anyone who has looked into this.
If you are thinking about it as I suspect you are from your phrasing, you're being misled by the phrase "not repeating". Pi repeats, and often, and it very likely repeats very long strings of digits.
What it doesn't do is infinitely repeat the same sequence of digits with no change.
Yeah, that's kind of what if figured. I figure it would repeat a pattern, switch to another, etc. It would likely repeat patterns for varying length, ever increasing in size.
